This policy explains what information DirectX AI ("DirectX", "we", "us") collects when you use this application, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the DirectX AI web app located at this domain.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL from Google, via Firebase Authentication. We use this only to identify your account and personalize the interface (e.g. showing your name and avatar).
Messages you send and the AI's replies are stored in your account (Cloud Firestore) so your chat history is available across sessions and devices. This includes chat titles, message text, and timestamps.
We use your browser's local storage to keep app preferences (such as response style and language) and a local copy of your session so the app loads quickly. This stays on your device and is not something we collect on our servers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations to serve third-party advertising.
Your chats are kept until you delete them. You can delete an individual conversation at any time from within the app, or clear your entire chat history using the "Clear history" option. If you'd like your account and all associated data fully removed, contact us at the address below.
Access to your data in Cloud Firestore is restricted to your authenticated account. Connections to the app are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to contact.directx@gmail.com.
